How to Apply

To apply to RYSS Academy HS P-TECH, students must:

Be an incoming 9th grade student for the upcoming school year.
Complete and submit a P-TECH Interest Form or Enrollment Application.
Attend a P-TECH informational session or orientation (student and parent).

Application Process

Interested students must complete the P-TECH Enrollment Application, which includes:

Student information
Parent/guardian contact information
Program interest area
Student commitment statement
Parent/guardian acknowledgement

Applications may be submitted:

Online (call for details)
Through the school counseling office
At recruitment events
During middle school outreach visits

Selection Process

RYSS Academy HS P-TECH follows an open-access enrollment model.

If the number of applicants does not exceed program capacity, all eligible students will be admitted.

If the number of applicants exceeds program capacity, a weighted lottery system will be conducted to ensure equitable access. The lottery may give additional consideration to:

At-risk students
Economically disadvantaged students
Emergent bilingual students
Students from underrepresented populations

The lottery will be conducted transparently and documented by school administration.
